Doing business with SEO Expert Services

Founded in 2006, SEO Expert Services is a new media company specialising in organic & paid search engine optimisation to clients in the UK and worldwide. We operate an on-shore consulting, off-shore delivery model to keep our cost base low - and we pass on that value to our clients through affordable services. We are based in London and Mumbai.

Our customers come from a variety of backgrounds. We have worked for big companies like Amazon but get an equal buzz from helping small businesses and entrepreneurs to take on the big boys. We do not discriminate on the grounds of budget! There are two key points about the way we work; (1) we like to work with businesses on a long term basis and (2) we like to get paid by performance. Why?

Long-term Engagements

We prefer long-term engagements for two main reasons. Firstly, organic search engine optimisation (our specialty) is all about patience; it can take up to 12 months before the full benefits of our campaign become fully visible to customers. This is partly due to the way search engine algorithms work (by deflating links and pages for age factors) and partly due to the ongoing efforts required to maintain positions. Secondly, we find that longer term relationships help our customers to better define what they are trying to achieve online and this, in turn, helps us to better serve them.

Payment by Performance

We prefer to be paid by performance for three reasons. Firstly, this is the way our customers want to pay us; there are a lot of poor practitioners of the SEO arts out there and – until trust has been established - we understand that you need to see results. Secondly, this makes it easier for us to tailor our prices to companies large and small. Thirdly, we can make more money this way (and we don’t mind admitting that); we want to share in the prosperity we help to create and are confident of the impact we can make on your business.

Requesting a Proposal

Typically, the process begins when webmasters request a proposal from us. As part of this process, you are invited to tell us something about your objectives and current web performance. At this stage, we send you a simple overview of our services and how we think we can help you.

The next stage is often a follow-up call or meeting, when we will discuss more precise parameters for performance on the campaign. For example, we might agree a 12 month target to double leads sourced through the web and an agreed way to measure & validate the achievement of this target (e.g. number of unique visitors).

In the final stage, we send you a formal purchase order that you can use to buy our services. Typically, there will be an up-front set-up charge and then an ongoing monthly payment (for a minimum twelve month contract). Usually, we will offer you 50-80% of your money back if the agreed targets are not met within the timeframes agreed.

When working with smaller businesses (and especially not-for-profit organisations), our one golden rule is that our set-up charge will never be less than £1,000. This is really a way to gauge the seriousness and level of commitment on both sides. If you are serious about growing your business online, then we will match that commitment and more!
